Hello girlfriends! Can you even believe that August is already here? Did July even happen?! It's been hotter than heck here in Nebraska but the other morning it was 70 degrees and it secretly made me crave Fall. I do love sweet summertime, and I'm not wishing away the rest of the warm days, but it did remind me that it's time to start mentally preparing for cooler temps. So as we move from Summer to Fall, you must step into the latest denim trend - slits!

Y'all, I am obsessed. A great fitting jean is the lifeblood of every woman's wardrobe and I'm so excited that our holy grail Gia Glider jean by Liverpool debuted a fun twist with side slits. This little detail is subtle and tasteful but brings a bit of edge to a classic pair of jeans. I also love the cropped hem on this version of the Gia Glider. The shorter length makes these so perfect as we transition from Summer to Fall and will look amazing paired with sandals, strappy heels, wedges, tennis shoes, and ankle booties!

Whether it be for work or play, these jeans are going to be your best friend and closet MVP. If you work in a business casual setting and are able to wear jeans to the office, I have two outfit ideas for you!

OUTFIT TWO: On the flip side, if your schedule is quieter and it's going to be more of a desk day, ditch the heels and opt for a crisp pair of white tennis shoes and layer on a scoop neck knit tank and long sleeve striped cardigan sweater, both by Liverpool! A tank and cardi combo is ideal for the office because buildings are notoriously freezing and then you melt the moment you step outside. This duo is perfect for going from work to happy hour!
